TITLE
RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE OF SATURATED STEAM

INTRODUCTION
Thermodynamics is defined as a study related to the transfer of heat and work between a system and its surrounding , undergoing a process causing any of the properties of the system change. An ideal gas obeys the equation of states the relates the pressure, specific volume or density, and absolute temperature with mass of molecules and the gas constant, R.

When energy increase within water, the increasing of activities among the molecules enables the increase in the number of molecules escape from the surface until an equilibrium depends on the pressure between the water surface and steam. At lower pressure, the molecule become easier the water surface while less energy required in achieving the state of equilibrium(boiling point). The temperature where equilibrium occurs at given pressure level is called saturated temperature .

DISCUSSION
Pressure and Temperature are the two fundamental quantities of any material. Standard Temperature and Pressure is a standard set of conditions for experimental measurements, to enable comparisons to be made between sets of data. In the experiment the Pressure and Temperature are discussed and compared by the graph and tabulated results in the previous sections. As for the pressure and temperature of steam, both quantities are also proportional to each other which are proved by the calculations and the graph trends. The slopes was plotted and compared and it was almost constant throughout the experiment. The results showed that by comparing each test, errors made during the

CONCLUSION
The relationship between pressure and temperature of saturated steam is observed. The pressure and temperature are measured using the pressure gauge and thermometer of the Boiler Simulator. The Thermodynamics theory and Ideal Gas Equations were used to calculate and compare the experimental readings to make the test as efficient as possible. To evaluate the slope derived formulae and the given data from the steam table are used. The calculated slope values are compared with the measured value of the slope of the graph using tables and graphs. After analyzing the experimental and theoretical results, the experimental slope is similar to the theoretical slope which shows the accuracy of the test. The plotted graphs showed that the pressure is directly proportional to the temperature. It can be concluded that the fluid used for the test was pure water because the fluid boils at 373K.The experiment is successful though there are small possible errors in the experiment. All of these values agreed within the estimated experimental errors. To improve the accuracy of the result the experiment should be performed carefully and the instruction should be followed.
