Emissions of Gasoline Engine:

Carbon mono oxide(CO) Carbon di oxide (CO2) Hydro carbons (HC)

Nitrogen Oxides (NOx)

Lead (Pb)

Effects of CO
Forms carboxyhemoglobin with hemoglobin (combining capacity 50 times more than oxygen).

Reduces oxygen delivery to bodys tissues and organs.

At low levels, it affects people with cardiovascular diseases. At high levels, it is poisonous to everyone.

Effects of Hydro Carbons

Pulmonary Discomfort.
Effects the mucous membrane.

Auto Exhaust Analyzer

It is an instrument which is used to measure the

amount of Carbon Mono Oxide and Hydro Carbons. Carbon Mono Oxide is measured in terms of percentage volume with reference to a span gas which is filled initially and the instrument is calibrated accordingly. Hydro Carbons are measured in PPM.

Primary Components:
Main Unit
Sampling Tube Sampling Probe

Probe and tube fittings

Power Cord

Working principle
It based on the principle of Non-Dispersive Infrared

ray structure(Double beam type). It makes internal pressure in the left detector higher than one in the right detector. By blocking the ray, the pressure in both detectors is equalized. The changing volume of absorbing infrared ray is detected.

Principle Components:

1. Infrared single light source

2. Mass-flow sensor

3. Interference Compensating Detector Eliminates

Measuring components: HC, CO. Measurement range:

HC: 0 to 10000ppm CO: 0 to 10% Measuring method: Infrared ray System Certification number: JATA-CO, HC-5 Communication interface: RS232C Indication: LCD with back light Power supply: 90 to 264V AC Mass (Weight): Approx. 5kg
