Introduction
“In this age of technology where inventions and
innovations are the trend, there is a need for
brave, imaginative and productive people. All of
which are words that we could describe a person
who is creative.”
Specific Problems
 Specifically, this study aimed to answer the
following questions:
2. Is there an increase on student creativity based on
pretest - posttest scores of the creativity test on
students’
c. Fluency
d. Flexibility
e. Originality
f. Total Creativity Score
Continued…
1. Does the motivation of the students while
doing the activities have an effect on
student’s creativity scores?
2. Do the hobbies of students have effect on
their creativity?
3. Are the lessons effective in terms of
understanding the concepts based on
evaluation scores?
Hypothesis
 1. The integration of creative activities do not affect the
development of creativity of the respondents.
 2. The motivation of the students does not affect the
development of creativity of the students.
 3. The hobbies and interest of students in the arts:
literature, music, painting sculpture/ architecture, and
theater arts does not affect the development of student’s
creativity.
 4. Artistic activities and lessons do not affect the
development of creativity and understanding of students
in physics.
Significance of Study
 Teachers - provide information on ways of developing
the creativity of the students and learn activities that can
develop the creativity of students.
 Students – It will provide students with the skills to
become more imaginative and creative
 Society – The society can have better young problem
solvers, thinkers, and scientists.
 Researchers – The results of this research can help other
researchers on creativity to serve as related literature to
their own study.

Development in Creativity

Motivation

Hobbies of student
Findings
Based on the results of the pretest - posttest scores in
the Creativity Test, the following findings were
identified:
 a. The fluency, originality, and flexibility of the
students increased significantly.
 b The total creativity score of the respondents
also increased significantly.
 Fluency has the largest increase among the three
identified components of creativity.
Findings
Based on the results of the Creativity scores
and motivation scores, there is no
relationship between motivation and
creativity.
Findings
Based on the results of the creativity scores
and hobbies of the respondents, there is a
significant relationship between creativity
scores and hobbies and interests of
respondents in the reading material they
read and the genre of music they listen to
Findings
Based on the results of the quizzes given to
the students, the creative activities gave an
average performance in enhancing the
achievement of the respondents in Physics.
Recommendations
 a. Give different activities to the students that will
test their creative potentials.
 b. Formulate ways on how creativity can be
fostered in the students.
 c. Think that there are no wrong answers when
creativity is concerned and create a good
environment for creativity to foster.
 d. Create means on how creativity can be tested
such as criteria for judging.
