Workplace emotions and attitudes

SITUATION QUESTION AFTER A FEW MONTHS ON THE JOB, SUSAN HAS EXPERIENCED SEVERAL EMOTIONAL EPISODES RANGING FROM FRUSTRATION TO JOY ABOUT THE WORK SHE HAS BEEN ASSIGNED.
USE THE ATTITUDE MODEL TO EXPLAIN HOW THESE EMOTIONAL AFFECT SUSANS LEVEL OF JOB SATISFACTION WITH THE WORK ITSELF.

Every day it happens. We experience emotions. We all do. But how good are We at managing them when they arise? How did We learn how to deal with anger, hurt, disappointment, frustration, and fear? What about joy? How often have We experienced joy, and do We know how to enjoy it

EMOTIONS
Psychological, behavioral, and physiological episodes experienced toward an object, person, or event that create a state of readiness.

Forgive yourself
Be kind to yourself. Do not blame yourself if things do not turn out as you expect them to be. Admit your weaknesses but do not disparage yourself.

Forgive others
Learn to forgive others who actually seemed to have tried to sabotage your plans and career advancement. You should learn how to let go of the feelings of ill-will against those who wronged you at work and free yourself from unnecessary stress.

Beat the boredom


BREAK UP THE MONOTONY. CROSS-TRAINING. VOLUNTEER FOR SOMETHING DIFFERENT.

STAY POSITIVE
STOP NEGATIVE THOUGHTS. PUT THINGS IN PRERSPECTIVE. LOOK FOR THE SILVER LINING. BE GRATEFUL.

Learn to be positive and do not allow negative thoughts to consume your mind.

EVEN A NICE CHAIR CAN MAKE A WORLD OF DIFFERENCES TO AN INDIVIDUALS PSYCHE.
