We require: TTL logic level (0-5V) and RS232 standards (-25 V to + 25V). Hence difficult to establish a direct link. We go for an intermediate link i.e. MAX232. MAX232 provides best noise rejection and very reliable against discharges and short circuit.

This project uses : regulated 5V, 500mA power supply. 7805 three terminal voltage regulator is used for voltage regulation. Bridge type full wave rectifier is used to rectify the ac out put of secondary of 230/12V step down transformer. KEIL IDE VB code
