Custom Animation
 Select the slide in either Normal or Slide view
 Click on slide show in menu bar
 Select the custom animation option in the menu
 The custom animation window appears
 This window contains four tabs: Order&timing,
Effects, Chart Effects and Multimedia Settings

Elements of Custom Animation Window
 In the Fig-1 there are some important elements
indicated.
 Objects area : Shows the objects in the selected
slide
 Slide Area : This is normally used for observing
the effects with preview button before applying
 Tabs Area : Four Tabs with different options

Order and Timing

This tab is used :

• To change the order of the objects within the slide
• To set the animation start timing to each object

Method to change Order and Timing
In the custom animation window, select the
objects for which you need animation
• Select the Order&Timing tab if needed then the
objects selected will appear in the order you
selected
If you want to change the order of an object :
• Select the object first
• Click on Move buttons for upward or downward
movement

If you want to set the timing for any object:

• Select the object first
• See the start animation separation
• Select “on mouse click” or “automatically”
radio button and enter the time in seconds

Effects Tab
This tab is used :
• To add/change the entry animation of the object of the slide
• To add/change the sound effect of the object
• To add/change the after animation effect of the object

In the custom animation window, select the

objects for which you need animation
• Select the Chart effects tab if needed for
add/change the animation
If you want to add/change the entry animation
effect or sound of a chart object:
• Select the required animation Effect from drop
down
• Select the required sound from sound box
