It means that people learn to live with what they have,

with their mistakes, and are able to accept themselves.

Confidence in efficacy of our minds, our ability to think. Our ability to learn, to make good decisions, to manage change. Accepting that: success,achivement, fullfilment and happiness are appropriate to us. More than a feeling, it has emotional, and cognitive components.

It is not temporary euphoria. It is not an illusion or hallucination It is not magical, it doesnt kick in from one day to the next.

As human beings we must work toward self-esteem; it is not an effortless task. Self-esteem means choosing to be conscious. Self-esteem is not found in external factors NOBODY can give us self-esteem. We MUST grasp it ourselves this means waking-up.

THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION (WHO) PROMOTES LIFE-SKILLS PROGRAMS IN SCHOOLS THAT LEAD TO: A) HEALTHY LIFESTYLE CHOICES B) OPTIMUM PHYSICAL, SOCIAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING.
