NOTE:
Submission of plate after the end of the class until the end of the day of deadline will correspond to a zero (0) mark on time management. Submission thereafter will no longer be accepted and will correspond to a zero (0) mark on the plate.
For unavoidable absences, the plate will only be accepted if it is accompanied by an excuse slip coming from the department chair or the dean. The plate should be submitted on the first day you return to attend your classes.

Telephone System (Vertical Design) Installation

Task Description:
Actual installation of Telephone System for a

residential type of building. The class project will include the following tasks.
1. Data Gathering 2. Telephone material preparation

3. Board construction
4. Design of Telephone System 5. Installation of Telephone System 6. Oral Presentation and Testing

Direct Instruction for the whole class:


The whole class will be involved in the following

Research Team Tasks:


Research all necessary information to install a

Telephone System on a residential building which includes the following:


Telephone System materials (picture, basic

description and prices) Steps on the installation of a Telephone System Standards to follow in installing a Telephone System on a residential building
Provide a hard copy of all the researched

materials. To be submitted on December 7, 2010 for Tuesday Class and December 9, 2010 for Wednesday Class.

Purchase of Telephone Materials and Collection Team Tasks:


Responsible for the collection of individual

monetary contribution for the class project. Contribution must be equally divided among members of the class. The team will purchase all the necessary materials to implement the Telephone System on a residential building. All materials should be available on January 4, 2011 for Tuesday Class and January 5, 2011 for Wednesday Class.

Purchase of Building Materials and Construction Team Tasks:


The team is responsible for the purchase of

building materials to construct a board that will be used to implement the Telephone System. Construct a board with a support. The board should be available on November 30, 2010 for Tuesday Class and December 1, 2010 for Wednesday Class.

Telephone System Design Team Tasks:


Responsible for the Telephone System Layout to

implement. Responsible for the painting of the board. The team is also responsible for the labeling of each room of the house and materials used. The board is already painted including the partition of the house on December 14, 2010 and December 15, 2010 for Tuesday and Wednesday class respectively. All the rooms and materials are labeled on February 8, 2011 for Tuesday Class and February 9, 2011 for Wednesday Class

Presentation and Testing Team


The team is responsible for the Oral Presentation

of the class project. The team is also in-charge to bring all the materials necessary to test the Telephone System like:
Antenna and TV set to test the antenna system
Laptop to check the data network Telephone to check the voice network

The Oral Presentation and Testing will be on

February 15, 2011 for Tuesday Class and February 16, 2011 for Wednesday Class.

Installation Tasks:
Installation of the Telephone System is a task of

all the teams. Each group has their assigned date to work

Telephone System (Horizontal Design)

General Description:
Each group will adopt a single barangay and

create a Telephone System Horizontal Design A minimum of 150 residences is required and provide a telephone connection for each residence. The design will start on January 4, 2011 for Tuesday class and January 5, 2011 for Wednesday Class. Oral Presentation will be held on March 15 and 22, 2011 for Tuesday class and March 16 and 23, 2011 for Wednesday class.
