THE HOLY MOTHER

 Sri Sarada Maa
 Endearingly known as ‘Holy Mother’, Sri
Sarada Devi, the spiritual consort of Sri
Ramakrishna, was born on 22 December
1853 in a poor Brahmin family in
Jayrambati, a village adjoining
Kamarpukur in West Bengal. Her father,
Ram Chandra Mukhopadhyay, was a
pious and kind-hearted person, and her
mother, Shyama Sundari Devi, was a
loving and hard-working woman.

 In the present world
every one craves for
wealth.

treasure equal to
contentment and no
virtue equal to
fortitude.
Do not fear
 Don’t be afraid,
Human birth is full of
sufferings, and one
has to face patiently,
taking the nature of
God.
 Do not be afraid of
karma, can be
counteracted with
prayer.
 God alone destines the world
 My son, even a blade of
grass cannot stir
without the will of the
God.
 It is God alone who
expresses his will
through the actions of
man.
 Do remember if a man
surrender himself
totally at his feet, He
will do every thing for
him.
How Swami Vivekananda attains every thing

 What powers did

Naren ( Swami
Vivekananda) have
 It was because God
acted through him
and he achieved what
he did.
God alone can
 Even impossible
becomes possible
through devotion.
 If one can regard God
as one’s own and call
him without seeing
him, that is God’s
grace
 God wipes our tears
 Pray to God with
tears in your eyes,
whenever you want
illumination or faced
with difficulty,
 The god will remove
all you impurities,
removes your mental
anguish, and give you
enlightenment.

What is the root of suffering
 The desire alone is at
the root of all
suffering.
 It is the cause of
repeated birth and
deaths.

 The happiness of the

world is transitory,
 The less you become
attached to the more
you enjoy peace of
mind.
 The peace lies in real
tie with God
 Is there a Happiness in the
World
 There is no happiness
while living in this body.
The world is full of sorrow
 Happiness is only a
empty word
 Those who have received
the grace of the master
can recognize him as
God, and that is their real
Joy.
 Have a child like
innocence
What is y ou r d uty
 Always do your duty
to other, but love you
must give to God
alone
 Do not forget worldly
love always brings in
its wake untold
misery.
 Live Carefully …
 One should live
carefully
 Do remember every
action produces its
results.
 Do not use harsh
words towards other
or be responsible for
their suffering.
Be a Human

 Be kind to others
 How one can be
human without
kindness.
 One’s life is fulfilled
when one is able to
give joy to another.
 Why should we work ..
 It is through work
alone that may break
asunder the bonds of
Karma ; only then is
one free from desires
 One shouldn’t be
without work even for
a single moment.

teachings you get
everything.
 The Master used to
say “ He who clings to
truth, lies in the lap of
God”
 Sri Ramakrishna is your own
 Pray to Master, he will do
everything for you.
 He is your own as the
moon is the uncle of all
children.
 Tell him your sorrows
with your tears.
 You will find he will fill
your with desired objects.
Sri Ramakrishna says ..
 One who remembers
me never suffers from
want of food or from
other physical
privations.
 By remembering him
one gets rid of all
sufferings .
 I am with you
 I am the mother of the wicked, as I am the
mother of the virtuous. Never fear.
Whenever you are in distress, say to
yourself, 'I have a mother.'"

 O Mother of the entire
universe and savoir of the
world, protector of the
devotees who transmits
the boon of liberation,
Who shows concern for
the world but remains
ever absorbed in God
realization.
Salutations unto Thee.
 Sarada ma give us
 O Sarada, propitious
Goddess, killer of misery
in souls resigned, Savoir
of religion in every age,
By saints and sages
worshiped, O Mother,
kind, Give us love and
wisdom, Thou, O Grace
incarnate, to Thee we
bow.
Sri Sarada ma fulfills her human
duty
 HOLY MOTHER, in a unique way, fulfilled
the duties of wife, mother, and nun. There
have been before in the world the ideal
wife, the ideal mother, and the ideal nun,
but a combination of the three in one
person is rare indeed.
 Sri Sarada ma fulfills
Womanhood
 The outstanding virtues of Indian womanhood
are courage, serenity, self-control, sweetness,
compassion, wisdom, and an intuitive
relationship with God. Holy Mother possessed all
these virtues. Since the acquisition of such gifts
is the dream of all women, Holy Mother may
aptly be seen as the symbol of aspiration of
women everywhere.“

The Eternal Message
 To err is human. One
must not take that into
account. It is harmful
for oneself. One gets
into the habit of
finding fault...
 Attains Mahasamdhi
 After a debilitating illness Sarada Devi
passed away on July 1920, her body was
taken to Belur Math and cremated. There
were over 7,000 well wishers present at
her funeral.
 I am with you ..
