Article: Performance Improvement with Patient Service Care Stated that open and frequent communication with patients helped develop trust and confidence with them. Relevance to the study: Performance of staff nurses can be improved if there is an open and frequent communication from superiors coupled with physician- nurse interaction with patient care.
Relevance to the study: the cause of problems met by staff nurses are due to poor relationships among top, middle and lower managers and staff nurses, lack of responsiveness by nurse executives to the problems of staff nurses, reduction of fringe benefits and low salaries given to staff nuses.

Relevance to the study: frustrations and painful emotions met by nurses in performing their duty in the hospital are job- related problems which must be identified and given due attention by top , middle and lower managers to improve patient care.
