Real Life Story . . .

Well, during pregnancy it was hard because I was extremely tired. I didn't really want to go to school because of the gossip going on but I managed to anyway because now I had to do it for my child. I wasn't working at the time. However, now that my son is 1 1/2 and Im a single parent going to school and working hard gets stressful. The hardest part about being a teen mom is maintaining good grades cause with work everything tends to pile up and trying to support my child gets very stressful. - J . Monterio

Well from personal experience it's one of the hardest things in life - you honestly can never be truly prepared with or without a spouse your whole life is going to change you have to take the responsibility of a child that has needs everyday and to mention is very expensive. It takes one time to get pregnant birth control is the best way to go some teens are worried that there parents will find out well by Brockton High there's a clinic called Brockton Family Planning where you don't need parental consent they have every type of birth control and even do tests such as pregnancy , std , aids and etc. They have the morning after pill also known as "plan b" which u can take up to a week after having unprotected sex . It's free for ladies who attend the clinic and some even get prescription refills if u are embarrassed have any one including a male as of the age pick it up for you using a picture identification and has to be at least 17 years of age and no questions will be asked. Think before you do something that you cant face consequences , please take my word and wait until your ready .

So after reading that real life story of a teen mom what did you think ? She was a former student at Brockton High School . Around the age of 17 she got pregnant and didnt really like coming to school because her self esteem was very low . As a teenager she probably thought that her babys father would stick around since she was pregnant but things ended up changing and now shes a single parent trying to maintain and balance out everything at once. Being a teen mom isn't as easy as you see like on television . You have to thing before you do things but you should never feel alone because theres someone out there willing to help you ( family , friends & people in the community ) . God Bless those strong teen moms doing it on there own or with help from the father of there child. And lets make sure you dont have to go through the things others went through , be yourself and time will take its roll and bless you in the future never rush things .

Real Life Story 2 . . .

I got pregnant in march of 2009 , I was 15 . father of my child wasn't involved at the time so he wasn't around thru my 9 months pregnancy . my pregnancy didn't go easy . I was stressed a lot , I had a lot of mix emotions , didn't have any morning sickness . my due date was December 15th. I went to school until the day I got induced which was the 22nd of December had him the next day ( December 23rd ; on his fathers birthday ) I was 16. So at this time it was Christmas vacation and we went back to school 2 days after school vacation was done . ( so I missed 2 days of school ) and focused on my education not only for me for my son . It was very tiring to wake up every 2 hours to feed him , change his diaper and care for him . It was hard to get diapers and wipes and baby needs because I didn't have a job at the time . I was stressing even more because the father and his family had not still come around or called to ask if I needed anything . I only had my family to support me . The baby attended the daycare at Brockton high without the project grad staff I wouldn't be in school . They helped me a lot and did whatever it took to help me graduate. I had to keep going back and forth to court to get a DNA test done to prove the identity of the babys father. A couple months later the results came and it said my son is his. After that, they came around and ever since then everything came to one peace and his father side of the family now loves and spoils him . Now I'm a senior at Brockton High most teachers congratulate me for making it as far as I have . My son is now 2 and he is too smart for his age .
