Year 1985 1998 Activity The group made foray into construction equipment business. Joint venture company Putzmeister India Pvt. Ltd. formed with Putzmeister, Germany for Concrete Pump production. State-of-art factory over 14,000 sq.m. set-up at Goa. Joint venture company Simem India Pvt. Ltd. formed with Simem, Italy for Batching Plant production. Strategic tie-up with Gomaco,USA for Concrete Slipform Pavers. Work on new Factory & Training Center near Pune started over 40,000 sq.m. of land.

Expansion Activities
Additional production line under implementation at Goa factory. Pump production capacity to cross 600/year. Higher pressure pumps developed for high rise construction. 0.5 m3 planetary mixers produced in Pune 1.0 m3 Twin Shaft Mixers to be produced at Pune New factory at Pune will enhance Batching Plant capacity to over 60 plants/year A new Training Centre is also planned at the Pune factory.
