Who We Are
 Mission Statement: To empower children from economically weaker sections of society

by providing monetary and non-monetary support in the field of education.


 Organization is 5 yrs young now.

Aashayein Foundation (AF) was registered as an NGO with the Govt. of Karnataka on 19th May, 2007. It started its full-fledged operations in Hyderabad in Feb, 2008.
 Operations extending across 4 cities in India

Full fledged operations at Bangalore (HQ), Hyderabad, Mysore & National Capital Region (NCR)
 More than 3000 registered members.

Majority of our members are software professionals from the prominent IT & ITES companies in the age group of 20-30 years including students from various colleges.

Sunday Breakfast Activity (SBA) (SBA)


On every Sunday mornings we visit orphanages, old age homes, schools for blind, schools for special kids and construction sites to serve breakfast and interact with the kids. Never missed a Sunday since Jan 2007 ! To gather their requirements, challenges and problems of aashrams and try to fulfill their needs. Currently supports few aashrams with their requirements in Hyderabad and visited more than 400 such homes in Hyderabad and Bangalore

Bacche Mann Ke Sacche (BMKS)


Identify the kids who cannot afford education or are not going to school, either in slum areas or poor aashrams Admit the students to government or government aided school in the near by area and provide all educational needs for the kid. Targeting the students in age group 6 to 16 from the class 1 to 10. Effective tracking mechanism of the performance of the students by regular meetings with school authorities, teachers, parents and students.

Shikshana Abhiyana (SA)


To provide quality education to the students in various government and government aided schools and thereby, bridging the knowledge gap between the students of public and private schools. Weekend classes in the schools as an attempt to enhance the communication skills and exposure to computers. Impart them education through ICT. (Received 15 computers from TCS and SA team installed them in schools for education of students) Ensure all-round development of children with focus on scholastic as well as extra-curricular activities. To appoint full-time quality teachers in schools which have need (currently, pay the monthly salary for 4 teachers and propose to appoint few more)

Pustaka Abhiyana (PA)


Ensure that each and every child has access to basic writing material pertinent for their education. Also, to support the schools in basic infrastructure materials required for running the school.  To target government schools mostly in rural areas of Andhra Pradesh & Karnataka Targeting the students in age group 6 to 16 from the class 1 to 10. Set up libraries, science lab, computer lab and other infrastructure needs of the schools.

 To identify the talent of these students, nurture them and hone their
