In 2000, 189 Heads of State and Governments pledged to work together to make a better world. They Promised to make the right to development a reality for everyone. Recently 193 UN member states and atleast 23 international organizations have agreed to achieve its goals by 2015. The aim of the MDGs is to encourage development by improving social and economic condition in the in the worlds poorest countries.

SEE:- Understanding the UN MDG and how they relate to our community. REFLECT:- Developing innovative mindsets useful for action. ACT:- Developing a project based on achieving the UN MDG INSPIRE:- Celebrating Action

Activity One: MDGs in the Newspaper Objective:- Realize the significance and scope of the UNMDG. Check about the awareness of MDG in the area. Learn the importance of the goals. Search different articles.

Activity Two: Map Your Community Objective:-Identify needs and to work on to meet a need Identify community or area. Survey the area and identify needs and problems. Share the findings Create a map with important places and concern them.

Activity Three: Something Special Objective:- Identify skills and strengths and apply them. Write down skill and strength Review the skills and discuss it means to group Create a design that represents the groups strengths Activity Four: Passion to Action Objective:- To use ones passion in positive work Visualize and write down the passion Share about their passion and how exercise it

Activity Five: Brainstorming for Action Objective:-Developing ideas for effective action Present the idea Link the idea with problems Prepare the way of implementation To measure the success of the project

Tool 3: Sponsorship is a two-way street. Tool 4: Getting started with public relations. Tool 5: Contacting the media. Tool 6: Understanding types of media. Tool 7: Writing and making phone calls to get media coverage. Tool 8: Documenting your project.

Activity Six: Web of Appreciation Objective:-To appreciate individual contribution Participants stand in a circle Appreciation to the contributor Speak about their experience Activity Seven :Journal Reflection Objective:- To reflect on the project through writing How do they feel having completed the project? What were their expectations? What problems did they overcome? Do they have any ideas for future positive actions?

Activity Eight: Involving Younger Students Objective:- Provide knowledge and inspire young faces. Childhood development and education Develop a lesson plan for younger students Arrange a primary school. Activity Nine: Celebrate through music Objective:- To boost the morale of the group Create a song and dance Celebrate the success through a musical performance
