On the day of the presentation, the presenter knows he has to be more interesting than the private daydreams of the audience or it will not be effective.

On the day of the presentation, the members of the audience know that their daydreams have to be more interesting than the presentation or else they cannot sleep.

On the day of the presentation, whether it is your presentation or your daydream, you had better make it interesting.

1. There is no correct way.

Effective presentation requires the creation of two way communication between you and the audience. No single set of rules will guarantee success in all situations.

The

success of a presentation is highly dependant upon the presenter, the audience and the circumstances.

It

is neither possible nor desirable to eliminate nervousness entirely.

flow of additional adrenalin creates a feeling of excitement that is advantageous to most presentations.

It

is however necessary to control nervousness so that it is not counterproductive.
