 Difficulty in Accessing Data from files Modification of records needed many handwriting cuttings Search was not efficient from files. Previous repair history was not available No mechanism to handle the wrong entries (like incompatible complaint numbers) Too many copies were needed to store different types of data.

Objective
The objective of this project is to design a software that can manage the reservation of seats in railway online without the need of any register. This software reserves seats for the railway traveler and takes payment from him via credit card. This software has facility for the person to view the schedules of various trains. The person can see his status all of the time by just putting his PNR number

Scope

This software can be used in the railway department and can serve as a very efficient substitute for the register sytem that is currently used for reservation of seats in trains the online payment feature is a very effective one. In the software the customer needs to supply his credit card number in the required field and he needs to submit the name of the bank whose credit card is being used by him

We can easily reserve our seats by internet. We can pay by credit Card. We can easily know the schedule for trains. We can know the trains between cities. We can easily know the time of trains.

1. Reservation:- In reservation module we reserve our seats. 2. Personal Information:- In this we enter information about the person. 3. Searching Trains:- By using this module we search the trains between cities. 4. Schedule for trains:- By using this we know the schedule of the trains.
