ASAAA can be inserted into any procontrol p 13 local bus. Receives only supply (24v) from bus, inputs and outputs are hard wired. FUNCTIONS : M-OUT-OF-3 Votting logic: V/I converter isolated (4 20 ma ). Alarm annunciation. Power supply and power supply monitoring. M- OUT OF 3 votting logic : during normal operation middle value input signal is transmitted directly to the output of module (voltage signal at pin 35). - Operation is normal as long as two extreme value input signals do not exceeds adjustable tolerance w.r.t output signal . Tolerance range is set by means of pot p1 and can be measured at jack A1 and A2. IN THE EVENT OF FAULT there are three possible modes of behavior, depending on how pin 17 is connected.

ASAAA 1. PIN 17 UNCONNECTED Middle value input signal is transmitted directly to the output even if second fault occurs. 2. PIN 17 CONNECTED TO PIN 41 (-15V) MIN of two unperturbed input signals is transmitted to output. In the event of second fault MIN configuration formed as a result of 1st fault is maintained. 3. PIN 17 CONNECTED TO PIN 37 (+15V) MAX of two unperturbed input signals is transmitted to output. In the event of second fault, MAX configuration formed as a result of 1st fault is maintained. On elimination of faults the circuit automatically returns to its normal configuration. However the fault alarms must be cancelled by pressing push button S1 (pin 21).

ASAAA Channels can be switched externally by connecting +24v at pin 81,83,85 (ch3,ch2,ch1) resp. individual channel faults are indicated by LED L2, L3,L4 . Group alarm is given by short circuiting jack A3-B3 on front plate of module. V I CONVERTER :- selected output voltage signal is converted to an electrically isolated 4- 20ma current output signal & made available at pin 25 w.r.t pin 39. Insertion monitoring (75,77 pin ) is available for supervision of missing module. INPUT :- +- 10 V At PIN 15, 13, 69 OUTPUT:- +- 10 V voltage 4 - 20 ma current.

ARSAA Application: ARSAA is preferably used as position controller for electrohydraulic drive. It can be used in other similar closed loop control circuit. This module is compatible with P13 Local bus, along with hard wired outputs. FUNCTIONS Controller PD, PI, limiting Amplifier Interface to procontrol P13 local bus. V/I converter with isolation (4-20 ma) P.S & P.S monitoring.

CONTROLER: Consists of PD, T1, T2, PI elements. Kv - Derivative gain (adjusted by pot p6) T1 - Time constant for derivative (by pot p4) Kp - proportional gain (by pot p3) T2 - Time constant for integration (by pot p7) Limit can be adjusted by pot P9 & P10 . Output signal is limited to the set limits at pin 17 Upper limit (0.+12 volts) by P9 pot Lower limit (0.-12 volts) by P10 pot For PD element For PI element Output = (1+Kv.P.T1)/(1+P.T1) Output = KP(1+P.T2)/ (P.T2)

SME2 is high when One or more power supply are missing or out of tolerance. Other faults are presents within the module. Information word is not received in cyclic sequence. Information word is incorrect. D0 dist bit is present (logic1). Address word is incorrect V/I converter : Converts output of PI elements (0. +10v) available at pin 17 into 4 20 ma. with isolation measured at pin 25 w.r t pin 39. insertion monitoring is provided. Amplifier : - ( optionally usable ) Two inverting inputs pin 41,29 One non inverting input pin 27 Output at pin 35

POWER SUPPLY FOR COLLINS TRANSMITTER: Power supply is formed from SMPS using flydback converter(P28). Regulated 24v dc is available at pin 81 (+) & pin 83 ( Gnd).

MATCHING: Floating signal from the Collins transmitter is matched. V/I CONVERTER: Converts matched signal at pin 73 (0+10v) into 4-20 ma with isolation . This is measured at pin 25 w.r.t 39. INTERFACE TO P13 LB: Module transmits the matched signal available to local bus in the form of telegram. Regulated P.S to Collins transmitter =24 volts dc Position I/P from Collins transmitter =0.10v Matched O/P is provided into LB & hardwired o/p 4-20 ma.

SUMMATION: upto 3 voltage signals can be summed at the input. input range is (0.+/-10v). summation unit output is given to two output amplifier of opposite polarity. LIMIT VALUE MONITER:Detects o/p short circuit (short circuit to M) and SME 2 becomes High. LOAD ISOLATION:Amplifier o/ps are connected via NC contacts for load isolation.

LMU10B:Power Transduser Module [Iskamatie A] USE: To achive practically instantaneous measurement of three phase active power. it is insensitive to environmental conditions such as electromagnet field. This power transducer consists of two modules. 1. Transducer module LMU BGW11 2. Electronic module LMuV- BGE11. 1.TRANSDUSER MODULE [BGW11]: Consists of two current transformer, two voltage transformer and zener diode for suppressions of surge voltage. Its design ensure that possible surge voltages in the measurement circuits cannot reach the subsequent electronic system. 2.ELECTRONIC MODULE : [BGE11] Consists of two adjacently positioned PCBs. Component needed for adjustment and measurement purpose are accessible from front panel.

Power measurement is based on the principle of


aron circuit with 2 phase to phase voltages and 2 currents I.e. Two watt meters method ( see the basic circuit diagram ) The output signal of the power transducer is proportional to the measured active power, which is obtained from the summation of the output signals of the two multipliers. FAULT MONITORING : AUX Power supply 24vDC is fed to electronic module. Inter power supply +- 18 v is monitored. Alarm appears at X11D18. When there is no alarm , enable signal appears at X11D20.
