Taking into consideration all the points we can conclude that reservation were introduced into the Indian education system as means for the overall development of the society. However, today all the sections of the society have been developed economically, culturally and socially. Hence, the need for the reservation is limited.

Complete elimination of the reservation is not possible considering the current political scenario. Hence reservation should be provided to the people who really need it and those people should be tracked regularly.
