Shutter Speed
Shutter speed is how long the sensor in your camera is exposed to light. Its measured in seconds and more commonly as a fraction of a second. It is the time of that it takes to take the shot of the moving object. The more time the doors are open are on the camera the more light would be let into the camera as this the higher the aperture as there would be more of the picture. less the door are open then the less light would be let into the camera as this the picture would be more blurry and less focussed. Examples
White Balance
White balance is used to adjust colors to match the color of light source so that white objects appear white. Subjects may be lit by a number of different light sources, including sunlight, incandescent bulbs and fluorescent lighting. although naked to the eye all these different light sources may appear colorless. Auto-white balance automatically processes the image to remove unwanted color casts by, for example, making photographs taken under incandescent bulbs more more blue to correct the reddish cast of this type of lighting.
Aperture
Aperture is the size of the gap in the lens when a shutter snaps shut. The set aperture affects the lens size. The bigger the lens, the more light that is let through. Aperture is measured in f-stops. For example f/2.8, f/4,f/5.6,f/8,f/22 this determines the amount of light that is gettingthrough when taking the picture. Aperture has a big impact upon depth of field. Large aperture(remember its a smaller number) will decrease depth of field while small aperture (larger numbers) will give you larger depthof field.
Exposure
Exposure is where the lighting of the image changes due to the setting or actual light. For example - you can over expose an image by shooting it towards the sun. The affect HDR can be gained by changing the exposure of the image this can be done by using software such as photoshop. Here is an example of how an image can be changed through the adjustment of the exposure. Notice how over exposure is considerably brighter than the under exposed side. The colors are washed out. Which is why when you change the exposure of the image you should also change the contrast in comparison to the exposure.
