Effective listening
Effective listening is an active process that has three basic steps:
Hearing
To listen and understand what the speaker saying.
Take what we have heard and try to make sense of it. When we are sure that we have understood the speaker, think about whether it make sense.

During listening, listen generally in order to find out: 1. the main subject or topic (news item, speech, talk, ect) 2. how the topic is dealt with
