 In this video the two characters are travelling by plane to Washington, USA. Washu is excited about the trip, even his t-shirt and his jockey have patterned I (heart) Washington and he brought his books and photocopies to study with. Washu asks Open why he brought his laptop with him. Open answers that he can continue practicing his English by internet. Because Open English allows him to keep learning even while he is traveling, as long as he has an internet connection. In the hotel Open will keep studying.

 Washu mocks Opens cursito and shows his emotion of going to Wachington Then, Open asks Washu if he will not practice English while they are in the plane. Washu replies, showing his confidence with a bunch of photocopies and books from his institute. The plane bell rings and a stewardess appears asking both if they feel comfortable sitting near the exit door. Washu replies very self-assured Exito Open makes a facepalm about his ignorant friend.

With this phrase a native English speaker or a person who manages very well the language, realize that Washu is making a phonetic mistake.  Washu makes a mistake when the stewardess asks him if he is comfortable sitting by the exit route. This phenomenon is called: False cognate. is a Spanish word that looks or sounds similar to an English word but has a totally different meaning

 Due to his lack of knowledge of the English language people started to identify orthographic mistakes with this meme. the meme exito creates identity Especially the ones related to how a Spanish speaker using his own native sounds, can write an English word.

People who has seen Open English commercials, feels identified with Washu every time that they witness a phonetical, grammar, or orthographical mistake in the English language. And they represent this by adding the picture of Washu if it is an online mistake or exclaiming: Exiitoo!!
Also, It creates a sense of Latin identity among non-native English speakers as they may not have the proficiency that native speakers have. It is worth mentioning that this meme respond to Spanish speakers and it is not well known in English speaking countries.
