ABSTRACT
Vast developments are taking place in the field of

internal combustion engine especially to improve the fuel economy and to reduce the emission percentage in the exhaust gases so that engine can compete with stringent emission rules of present days. Two strokes engines became outdated due to their inability to compete with these standards. This work is an attempt to bring two strokes engine back in the field of automobile by increasing the fuel economy and reducing the emission levels. In this regard Variation in compression ratio is the technology used to improve the efficiency of the engines.

Aim of this research work is to design, fabricate and

test a simple two stroke variable compression ratio (VCR) engine with better power delivery, fuel economy and less emissions. With split type cylinder block and stud arrangement the clearance volume of existing fixed compression ratio (FCR) engine is varied thereby varying the compression ratio. Modified engine is having very less knocking tendency, high power output, high mechanical efficiency, higher values of IMEP and BMEP, good cold starting property, low emissions

ABSTRACT
The electric shock absorber is a device that converts

the kinetic energy of an oscillating object into electric energy. This kinetic energy is normally dumped in a form of thermal energy in a conventional, mechanical shock absorber. The electric shock absorber consists of a permanent magnet linear synchronous generator (PMLSG), a spring, and an electric energy accumulator. The major goal of the project is to design and analyze the operation of an electric shock absorber.

The next subject was the design calculations for the

chosen type of PMLSG. To determine the dimensions as well as the parameters of its magnetic and electric circuits, the calculation program was written using MATLAB.

ABSTRACT
A major part of the heat supplied in an internal

combustion engine is not realized as work output, but dumped into the atmosphere as waste heat. If this waste heat energy is tapped and converted into usable energy, the overall efficiency of AN engine can be improved. The percentage of energy rejected to the environment through exhaust gas which can be potentially recovered is approximately 30-40% of the energy supplied by the fuel depending on engine load.

Thermoelectric modules which are used as

thermoelectric generators are solid state devices that are used to convert thermal energy from a temperature gradient to electrical energy and it works on basic principle of Seebeck effect.

ABSTRACT
In this project we are collecting air cylinder and store

this energy to the compressor tank as nonconventional method by simply driving the vehicle. Non-conventional energy system is very essential at this time to our nation. Compressed air production using vehicle suspensor needs no fuel input power to produce the output of the air. For this project the conversion of the force energy in to air.

The control mechanism carries the air cylinder

(vehicle suspensor), quick exhaust valve, Non-return valve and spring arrangement. We have discussed the various applications and further extension also. The initial cost of this arrangement is high.
