She is the editor-in-chief of Clinical Nurse Specialist: The International Journal of Advanced Nursing Practice and past president of the National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists (NACNS). She also served as coordinator of the Oncology Nursing Society’s CNS Special Interest Group and was a member of the American Nurses Association Council of CNS.
