Build an Event Draw

Scenario

Every year the Black Stump Soccer Club holds a Spring Carnival tournament. As the club’s event
manager, you have the task of organising the round robin play-off timetable for the day.

On the day there will be 6 teams to play 5 matches each, all using the one field. No team should be
disadvantaged by having two play two games consecutively. This will ensure sufficient rest. The
duration of each match will be 27 minutes with a 3 minute time interval to change teams on the field.
The first match should start at 8:30am and there should be a half hour lunch break for everyone
between 12.30 – 1pm.

Teams entered in this year’s carnival are:

• Red Ducks • Southern Stars
• Gorillas • Lightning Bolts
• Daemons • Tigers
