Masculine ce (cet*) ces

Feminine cette ces

“Ce” is used before a masculine singular noun that begins with a
Consonant.
e.g. Ce garçon apprend le français. This (that) boy is learning
French.
Ce Prof. est content. This/that teacher is happy

“Ces” is used before a plural noun.

e.g. Ces biscuits ne sont pas bons. These (those) cookies are not
good.
Ces jeunes filles sont mes soeurs. These (those) young girls are
my sisters.
“Cet” is used before a masculine singular noun that begins with
Vowel or vowel sound.
e.g. Cet homme est professeur. This (that) man is a teacher.
Cet élève est intélligent. This/that pupil is intelligent.
“Cette” is used before a feminine noun.
e.g. Cette fille est gentille.
This (that) girl is nice.

Cette femme est belle. This/that woman is beautiful.
