on the staff at the beginning of each example. The alternate version uses the same melodies in traditional F
and G major keys in treble clef.

**Level 3 Melodies has two versions: one is my preferred method that introduces F, G, and C major for use
after using level 2 without key signatures. The alternate version uses the same melodies, but only introduces C
major (for use after using alternate version of Level 2)

***Level 9 Melodies has two versions: one using La-based minor and one using Do-based minor.
