Le terme Holodomor
(ukrainien : голодомо́р, littéralement « famine », de la
racine « го́лод », la faim, et « мор », le fléau, formé
comme calque du tchèque « hladomor » (famine) en
19331, mais qu'on peut traduire par «extermination par
la faim») désigne la grande famine qui eut lieu en RSS
d'Ukraine et dans le Kouban, en URSS, en 1932 et 1933
et qui fit, selon les estimations des historiens, entre 2,62
et 5 millions de victimes

est un crime consistant en l'élimination concrète intentionnelle, totale ou partielle,
d'un groupe national, ethnique ou encore religieux, en tant que tel, ce qui veut dire
que des membres du groupe sont tués, brisés mentalement et physiquement, ou rendus
incapables de procréer, en vue de rendre difficile ou impossible la vie du groupe ainsi
réduit.

Le génocide peut être perpétré par divers moyens, le plus répandu et le plus évident
étant le meurtre collectif.

Pendant la collectivisation prévue dans le premier plan
quinquennal (1928-1932), une campagne de
dékoulakisation (en ukrainien: розкуркулення),
expropriation de la propriété privée des koulaks au profit
des kolkhozes, a mené aux déportations, incarcérations,
voire à la mort, 5 millions de paysans (notamment par
extermination par la faim), particulièrement en Ukraine et
dans le Kouban.
Loi des cinq épis de blé
Il s'agit d'une loi qui, pour le vol de biens agricoles
collectifs, prévoyait l'exécution avec confiscation des
biens ou une peine d'emprisonnement d'au moins 10
ans avec confiscation des biens.

production : les terres, les usines, les entreprises, etc.
