Objecves
Objecfs
Enhance public experience of the shorelines and the islands by:
1. Providing public access for pedestrians and cyclists from the
Oawa shoreline. Bridges will connect Richmond Landing, Victoria
Island and Amelia Island.
2. Providing Universally Accessible (U.A.) routes from the Portage/
Wellington intersecon to Richmond Landing, and from Bronson
Pulp Mill to experience the ruins.
3. Developing interpretaon, lookouts and waynding (aboriginal,
natural, industrial and military heritage)
Orir au public une exprience plus arayante sur les berges
et les les :
1. en permeant aux pitons et aux cyclistes daccder aux berges
dOawa. Des ponts relieront le dbarcadre Richmond, lle
Victoria et lle Amlia;
2. en orant des parcours daccs universel de lintersecon du
Portage et Wellington au dbarcadre Richmond, et de lusine de
pte papier Bronson pour se rendre aux ruines;
3. en faisant de linterprtaon, en amnageant des belvdres et en
installant des panneaux indicateurs (patrimoine autochtone,
naturel, industriel et militaire).
