Reverso
The Reverso was born in 1931, in a period when British colonial army
officers stationed in India were keen to find a timepiece able to survive
the inevitable hard knocks sustained in polo tournaments. The legendary reversible case, which swivels 180 degrees to protect the dial,
has remained avant-garde throughout the decades since its creation,
representing a complex technical accomplishment comprising over 50
parts. Right from the start, the Reverso was enthusiastically received
among devotees of Fine Watchmaking as well as aesthetes with a
taste for Art Deco styling, firmly establishing itself as a timeless classic.
The Reverso offers a unique space for personalisation. To fulfill the
wishes of connoisseurs, the Manufacture has developed a broad array
of decorative techniques ranging from engraving to gem-setting and
the ancestral art of enamel miniature painting.
Over the years, its back has taken on the most diverse faces. It can
display a second time zone with the Reverso Duo concept, or be
fitted with a sapphire crystal to reveal the movement. The Reverso
Duetto shows a different face on each of its two dials, both driven by
a single movement. The admirably restrained ultra-thin models associate classically pure lines and perfectly harmonious proportions with
breathtaking slenderness.

A timeless design
It aesthetically echoes the iconic Art Deco lines that have forged the success of the Reverso.
Its dial features a satin-brushed surround framing a guilloch centre. These two zones are
delineated by the famous railway minute track.
A complete calendar
In addition to the hour and minute functions, two apertures reveal the day and month
indications, while the date display at 6 oclock surrounds a disc showcasing the lunar cycle.
A sapphire crystal case-back to admire its movement
The back of the case opens onto the movement and reveals its noble finishes. Vertical Ctes
de Genve accentuate its geometrical sophistication.

A 50-piece limited series
The watch is clothed in an 18-carat white gold ultra-thin case that swivels to provide admirable
views of the two finely crafted faces adorning this exceptional timepiece.
An ultra-thin skeleton movement
Its 2.08mm ultra-thin movement is entirely openworked and decorated by hand. It reveals
the intricacies of its gear trains sculpted in a manner that leaves nothing to chance. The artisan
has patiently removed material using the blade of a tiny saw in order to create an ideally light,
airy effect the main challenge being to guarantee impeccable reliability. All its sides have then
been individually drawn out, bevelled, polished, chased and engraved by hand.
Artistic and technical expertise
The rim of the 18-carat white gold is adorned with a fine arabesque engraving, accompanied
on the front side by a blue-tinted translucent enamel reflecting the traditional colour of the
blued hands.

This exceptional watch, equipped with a flying tourbillon and a perpetual calendar, was
created in harmony with the finest watchmaking traditions. Housed within a 42mm case,
Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre985 beats to the rhythm of a flying tourbillon featuring a cylindrical
balance-spring. This set of sophisticated features ensures exceptional precision-timing
performance. The perpetual calendar indications of the hours, minutes, day, date, month,
year and moon phases are extremely legible. The flying seconds hand is visible above the

A tribute to Antoine LeCoultre
A medal won at the 1889 Universal Exhibition in Paris is engraved on the movements

Chronometry limited edition in 950 platinum
This exceptional model was issued in a limited series in its 950platinum version as a tribute
to the success achieved by the Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre in winning the first International
Chronometry Competition in 2009.
A sophisticated tourbillon
The tourbillion carriage is made from a special, particularly light grade 5 titanium alloy enabling
a maximum reduction in energy consumption. This carriage features entirely hand-polished
angles. The 78parts of the tourbillon, including a large balance, weigh only 0.28grams in all.
A non-stop horological show
The date indication is equipped with an ingenious mechanism enabling adjustment in both
directions and making it jump between the 15th and the 16th so as not to hide the tourbillon
carriage from view. The dial also offers a travel time zone indication that is easily adjustable
via the crown, as well as displaying the reference time in 24-hour mode.

A flying tourbillon
This timepiece is entirely dedicated to the measurement of astronomical time. The flying
tourbillon acts as an hour hand and does not indicate mean time, like the majority of
wristwatches, but instead the unit used by astronomers to follow the trajectory of celestial
bodies: sidereal time.
A zodiac calendar
The dial reproduces the sky chart of the Northern Hemisphere. A sun rotates around the
dial circumference in exactly 24 hours and indicates the zodiac signs, the months and the days
appearing on a circular scale appearing on the outer rim.
A dazzling jewellery watch

The case of the Duomtre watches features polished logs and a satinbrushed caseband. The grained dials feature remarkable readability,

By featuring a design inspired by the Memovox Deep Sea, Jaeger-LeCoultre for the very first
time fits a three-counter chronograph movement inside this historical case. Its traditional
rotating bezel (contrary to the original Memovox which had an inner rotating bezel) has been
slimmed down to ensure optimal readability of the time and chronograph indications that are
indispensable to divers. Its rugged straps are made from embossed calfskin leather reminiscent
of the original versions.

A dial with a powerful and refined design for easy read-off
It is inspired by the radiator grilles of the Aston Martin Vanquish car. The chronograph hour
counter appears on an original disc that performs one full turn in 12hours, while a fixed red
arrow indicates the elapsed hours.
Power-reserve display
This indication appears through two apertures in the upper part of the inner bezel ring. When
the watch is wound, the red power-reserve discs draw closer as if to embrace the 12oclock

A revolutionary mechanism: the transponder
The watch incorporates a built-in transmitter micro-system for activating and deactivating the
locking system of all Aston Martin cars, while retaining the functions of the vertical-trigger
chronograph. The miniaturisation of the transponder, its wiring and its transmitter antenna
were completely redesigned from a watchmaking perspective. The development required
18months of research by Jaeger-LeCoultre with intense collaboration from Aston Martin. The
antenna is metallised on the internal surface of the sapphire crystal in a shape following the
curve of the dial and is connected to the locking control contact rectangles. The two contact
rectangles serve to activate three automobile functions: opening and closing of the doors
(OPEN/CLOSE), while simultaneously pressing both lights up the headlamps of the Aston
Martin to facilitate locating the car (FIND ME).

Tourbillon
Thinnest minute repeater watch
At just 7.9mm thick in all and housing a slender 4.8mm movement, it is the thinnest repeater
watch.
World first: a flying tourbillon fitted with a flying balance-wheel
It reduces the movement thickness offering a spectacular plunging view into the heart of this
system with its steadily beating blued balance-spring. The latter features two terminal curves
ensuring perfect concentric development, as well as excellent chronometric (precision-timing)
performances.
Peripheral automatic winding system
To ensure it can fit inside this ultra-thin case, the automatic winding system developed for this
watch is of a peripheral type. The winding is handled by a platinum oscillating weight segment
mounted on a circular ball bearing mechanism, visible through narrow openings around the
entire dial rim, and which oscillates around the movement rather than under it.
A minute repeater endowed with a silent-timelapse reduction system
A new striking mechanism system has been developed that serves to eliminate the traditional

A new-generation Gyrotourbillon
Jaeger-LeCoultre introduces the first flying Gyrotourbillon. The absence of an upper bridge
allows the gaze to wander freely through this entrancing miniature universe. Combined with
a blued 14-carat gold balance, the three-dimensional movements of the balance-spring make
a surprising and fascinating sight. The watchmakers of the Manufacture have developed a
spherical-shaped balance-spring fitted with a double terminal curve guaranteeing enhanced

Instantaneous digital-display chronograph activated by a single push-piece at 2 oclock
Its chronograph is of the single push-piece type, an historical characteristic reminiscent of late
19th century creations. The chronograph dial is swept over by a seconds hand that begins

subdivisions on a classic scale running from 0 to 59 and bearing numbers shown in tens for

The subdial displaying the day/night indication features a hand-punched background, while
the mainplate has been patiently manually hammered according to an ancient technique

Sphrotourbillon: an unprecedented multi-axis tourbillon
In addition to spinning around the axis of its titanium carriage, the tourbillon also rotates around
a second axis inclined at a 20 angle. The combination of these two distinct and fast rotations
(15 and 30 seconds respectively) serves to compensate for the effects of gravity in all positions.
First tourbillon watch adjustable to the second
The use of the Dual-Wing concept enabled the watchmakers of the Manufacture to create
the first tourbillon adjustable to within one-second accuracy. A push-piece serves to reset
the small seconds to zero, according to the flyback principle that offers the advantage of not
impeding the operating of the regulating organ. The small seconds hand thus returns to zero
and starts running again immediately. The watch thereby preserves maximum precision even
when setting the time.
A new generation of complication watches
At the heart of this three-dimensional device beats a balance-spring that is no longer flat like its
traditional counterparts, but instead cylinder-shaped such as one finds in 18th century marine
chronometers. The watch reconciles extreme performance with elegance while respecting
classic watchmaking design codes: fine, subtle decoration; a slender shape at 14.1mm thick

The subtle shutter device activates the minute repeater function
The watch houses a minute repeater function controlled by a Venetian blind covering the
dial. Pushing it back activates the mechanism that provides an acoustic indication of the time
by successively sounding the hours, quarters and minutes on two gongs.
An extremely pure sound
The sound produced by the watch stems from lengthy research conducted in the laboratories
of the Manufacture. This timepiece, equipped with a silent regulator, features trebuchet
hammers as well as monobloc gongs made from a secret-formula alloy.

Master Grande Tradition Grande Complication

A flying tourbillon
This timepiece is entirely dedicated to the measurement of astronomical time. The flying
tourbillon acts as an hour hand and does not indicate mean time, like the majority of
wristwatches, but instead the unit used by astronomers to follow the trajectory of celestial
bodies: sidereal time.
A zodiac calendar
The dial reproduces the sky chart of the Northern Hemisphere. A sun rotates around the
dial circumference in exactly 24 hours and indicates the zodiac signs, the months and the days
appearing on a circular scale appearing on the outer rim.
A pure sound
The acoustic quality of a watch depends mainly on the gongs. In order to emit the purest and
most melodious possible tone, Jaeger-LeCoultre has developed a crystal cathedral gong achieving
an exceptional rich sound. These gongs are machined all of a piece from a special alloy.

An acoustic masterpiece
A chime reproduces the original tune played by Westminster Abbeys Big Ben. It is composed
of a complex brain called the infernal tower which regroups along a single axis the whole set
of snails and cams driving the striking mechanism and the hour indication. Original trebuchettype hammers have been invented. Their exceptional efficiency makes it possible both to
reduce the dimensions of the barrel and to guarantee the striking mechanism a power-reserve
of up to 10 hours in Grande Sonnerie (Grand Strike) mode.
Crystal gongs

Master Compressor Extreme LAB

First entirely lubricant-free watch
This watch does away with the need for any oils or greases in the movement. The lever and
the escape-wheel are coated in oxidised silicon. For the first time in the history of JaegerLeCoultre, an Easium carbonitride-cased high-tech ceramic has been used to replace the
traditional bearings that require lubrication of the components. For the balance, eliminating
the shock-absorbing device required the development of a reinforced Teflon-alloy pivoting
system. Barrel grease has been replaced by a mixture of graphite powder. Its mechanism is
capable of performing at a high level for many years while maintaining its precision and its
reliability. Even at temperatures of less than 40C, when the oils and greases used in classic
watches freeze and bring the movement to a halt, this watch continues imperturbably running
at its usual rate.
Extreme technical sophistication
The oscillating weight is composed of a carbon fibre base and a platinum/iridium segment.
A patented construction of the balance serves to maximise its aerodynamic characteristics.
The latter are achieved by the use of a platinum/ruthenium alloy boasting a high density
that serves to reduce the aerodynamic friction surfaces.
The case: a compendium of innovations
Three patents have been filed for the case: one for its unprecedented construction based on
a carbon fibre middle encapsulated within a system incorporating the grade 5 titanium lugs;

Standard time
The accuracy of the standard time indication is ensured by the tourbillon, equipped with an
ultra-light 0.08-gram titanium carriage and a large balance.
Sidereal time displayed on the back
The sky chart appearing on a disc at the centre of the patented zodiac calendar reveals
the constellations visible from a given latitude. It performs a complete rotation in 23hours,
56minutes and 4 seconds, and indicates sidereal time complemented by an equation of
time display along with sunrise and sunset indications.
Perpetual time on a third face
The cradle or base of the reversible case provides an unprecedented space for the
instantaneous perpetual calendar indications. The retrograde date display is activated via an
ingenious transmission system. Every evening, at exactly midnight, the movement gives an
impulse to the base in order to update all the calendar information.

Atmos
The Atmos has been living on air and in tune with the times since its
creation in 1928. This famous clock was invented by engineer JeanLeon Reutter and it has since been developed and tirelessly perfected
in the workshops of the Manufacture. The Atmos measures the passing
hours with a constancy that even time cannot alter.
Its almost-perpetual movement operates using an infinitely small
amount of energy supplied by its mechanism which is constantly wound
by a capsule filled with a mixture of gases and interdependent with the
mainspring of the clock. A mere one-degree fluctuation in temperature is enough to provide this watch with a two-day power-reserve.
Hanging from a steel alloy wire thinner than a hairs breadth, its balance
performs just two vibrations per minute. The gearing is so perfect that
it requires no lubricant.
The time of the Atmos clock belongs to a realm that is beyond human
grasp: the moon-phase model, for example, will accumulate a one-day
discrepancy only once every 3,821 years.
Over the years, the magic of the Atmos poses an irresistible fascination to artists. This full-fledged objet dart is thus naturally destined to

wood varieties and over 1,400meticulously fashioned wooden elements.
Automatically opening cabinet
The cabinet is equipped with an automatic opening system, an ingenious mechanism that serves
to alternately hide or show the clock simply by pressing a button cleverly conceals beneath

A refined dial
