1
𝑑𝑜𝑛𝑐 − 3𝑥 + 4 = −3𝑥 + 6 𝑑𝑜𝑛𝑐 − 3𝑥 + 3𝑥 + 4 − 6 = 0 𝑑𝑜𝑛𝑐 − 2 = 0
Ainsi 𝑆 = ∅

5𝑥
Or −3 ∈ 𝐷𝐸 𝑒𝑡 3 ∈ 𝐷𝐸 𝑑𝑜𝑛𝑐 𝑆 = {−3 ; 3}
b. Exemples :
Résoudre dans ℝ les équations suivantes : 2 x −1 = 3 et x − 5 = −1
( E1 ) : x − 5 = −1
On a −1 < 0 donc l’’équation ( E1 ) n’admet pas de solution par conséquent S =
( E2 ) : 2 x −1 = 3
On a 3 ≥ 0 donc l’’équation ( E2 ) est équivalent à 2x −1 = 3 ou 2x −1 = −3
Par conséquent x = 2 ou x = −1

−b c
x1 + x2 = et x1 x2 =
a a
b. Application
Résoudre dans ℝ les équations suivantes et factoriser si possible
𝑥2 + 𝑥 − 2 = 0 ; 𝑥 2 − 6𝑥 + 9 = 0 ; 𝑥 2 + 2𝑥 + 6
Correction :
• On a : 𝑎 = 1 ; 𝑏 = 1 ; 𝑐 = −2 𝑑𝑜𝑛𝑐 ∆= 𝑏 2 − 4𝑎𝑐 = 12 − 4 × 1 × (−2) = 1 + 8 = 9 > 0
Donc l’équation admet deux solutions distints 𝑥1 𝑒𝑡 𝑥2
−𝑏 − √∆ −1 − √9 4 −𝑏 + √∆ −1 + √9 2
𝑥1 = = = − = −2 𝑒𝑡 𝑥2 = = = =1
2𝑎 2×1 2 2𝑎 2×1 2
donc 𝑆 = {−2; 1}
𝐹𝑎𝑐𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑖𝑠𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 ∶ 𝑥2 + 𝑥 − 2 = (𝑥 + 2)(𝑥 − 1)
• On a : 𝑎 = 1 ; 𝑏 = −6 ; 𝑐 = 9 𝑑𝑜𝑛𝑐 ∆= 𝑏 2 − 4𝑎𝑐 = (−6)2 − 4 × 1 × 9 = 36 − 36 = 0
donc 𝑆 = ∅
𝐹𝑎𝑐𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑖𝑠𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 ∶ 𝑥2 + 2𝑥 + 6 𝑛𝑒 𝑠𝑒 𝑓𝑎𝑐𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑖𝑠𝑒 𝑝𝑎𝑠
Astuce :
Pour résoudre une inéquation du deuxième degré, on utilise toujours le tableau du signe.
b. Application
1) Donner le tableau du signe des trinômes suivants :
𝑃(𝑥) + − +
• Pour Q(x) : On a : 𝑎 = 1 ; 𝑏 = −4 ; 𝑐 = 4 𝑑𝑜𝑛𝑐 ∆= 𝑏2 − 4𝑎𝑐 = (−4)2 − 4 × 1 × 4 = 16 − 16 = 0
𝑏 −4 4
Donc : 𝑥0 = − 2𝑎 = − 2×1 = 2 = 2
Alors :
𝑥 −∞ 2 +∞
𝑄(𝑥) + +
𝑅(𝑥) +
b. Application
Résoudre dans ℝ2 les systèmes suivants :
3𝑥 − 𝑦 = 1 2𝑥 − 𝑦 = 6 3𝑥 − 𝑦 = 1
1. (𝑆1 ): { ; 2. (𝑆2 ): { ; (𝑆3 ): { 1
𝑥+𝑦=3 4𝑥 − 2𝑦 = 12 𝑥− 𝑦=2
3
Correction :
1. On a : 𝑎 = 3 ; 𝑏 = −1 ; 𝑐 = 1 𝑒𝑡 𝑎′ = 1 ; 𝑏′ = 1 ; 𝑐 ′ = 3
3 −1
Alors : 𝐷=| | = 3 × 1 − (−1) × 1 = 4 ≠ 0
1 1
Donc le système admet une solution unique (x;y)
1 −1
On a : 𝐷𝑥 = | | = 1 × 1 − 3 × (−1) = 4 ; 𝐷𝑦 = |3 1| = 3 × 3 − 1 × 1 = 8
3 1 1 3
𝐷𝑥 4 𝐷𝑦 8
Alors : 𝑥 = = = 1 ; 𝑦= 𝐷 =4=2
𝐷 4
𝐴𝑖𝑛𝑠𝑖 𝑆 = {(1; 2)}
1
3. On a : 𝑎 = 3 ; 𝑏 = −1 ; 𝑐 = 1 𝑒𝑡 𝑎′ = 1 ; 𝑏′ = − 3 ; 𝑐 ′ = 2
3 −1 1
Alors : 𝐷 = |1 − 1| = 3 × (− 3) − 1 × (−1) = −1 + 1 = 0
3
1 −1 1 1 5
Puisque : 𝐷𝑥 = |2 − 1| = 1 × (− ) − 2 × (−1) = − + 2 = ≠ 0
3 3 3
3
Alors le système n’a pas de solutions .
