SI LA MER SE DÉCHAÎNE IF A WINDSTORM ARISES

Il n'a pas dit que tu coulerais He has not said that you should perish,
Il n'a pas dit que tu sombrerais He has not said that you should founder,
Il a dit: "Allons de l'autre bord" But He has said: "Let’s cross to the other side."

1. Si la mer se déchaîne, 1. If a windstorm arises,

Si le vent souffle fort, If waves beat into the boat,
Si la barque t’entraîne, So that the boat is filling,
N’aie pas peur de la mort. Do not be terrified.

2. Si ton cœur est en peine, 2. If your spirit is broken,

Si ton corps est souffrant, If your whole heart is faint,
Crois en Jésus, Il t’aime Believe in Christ who loves you
D’un amour triomphant. With an everlasting love.

3. Si un jour sur la route 3. If one day on your journey,

Tu croises le méchant, You encounter evil,
Ne sois pas dans le doute, Let your heart not be troubled,
Jésus-Christ est vivant. Jesus Christ is alive.

4. Si Jésus est pour nous, 4. If the Lord is for us,

Qui sera contre nous ? Who can be against us?
C’est l’Éternel qui est Dieu! For the Lord, He is God!
Il est Dieu en vérité. The Lord is the true God.

5. Il n’y a donc maintenant, 5. Therefore, there’s now, no more

Aucune condamnation Condemnation for those
Pour ceux qui sont en Jésus. Who are in the Lord Jesus.
C’est Lui qui justifie. It is God who justifies.

6. Si tu marches sur l’eau, 6. If you walk on the water,

Ne regarde’ pas au vent. Do not look at the wind,
Mets ta foi en Jésus-Christ, Put your trust in Jesus Christ
Et tu triompheras. And you will overcome.
