Sur 242 échantillons (patients hospitalisés, femmes enceintes et patients Roche Diagnostics GmbH, Sandhofer Strasse 116, D-68305 Mannheim

dialysés ne manifestant pas d’infection à VHB), 239 étaient non réactifs
avec le test Elecsys HBeAg et 222 avec un test de comparaison. Deux
échantillons, réactifs avec les deux tests, ainsi qu’un échantillon réactif
avec le test Elecsys HBeAg mais non réactif avec le test de comparaison
étaient également réactifs pour Ag HBs. 18 échantillons non réactifs avec le
test Elecsys HBeAg et faiblement réactifs avec le test de comparaison
étaient Ag HBs négatifs.
