2. Coefficient angulaire d’une droite
Le coefficient angulaire1 (ou coefficient de direction) de la droite d’équation y = mx + p

La dérivée d’une fonction étant elle-même une fonction peut être dérivée. Lorsque
l’on dérive la dérivée d’une fonction, on dit qu’on recherche la dérivée seconde de la
fonction de départ.
Il est évident que l’on peut continuer de la sorte indéfiniment et obtenir les dérivées
troisième, quatrième, cinquième, etc. d’une fonction donnée.
