LInstitut de recherche sur lhydrogne est la recherche dun candidat pour un poste de stage postdoctoral sur la thmatique des vhicules hybrides batteries - gnratrice lhydrogne.
Personne recherche Toute personne ayant complt (ou tant sur le point de complter) une formation doctorale (ou lquivalent) en gnie mcanique, gnie physique ou gnie lectrique et intresse par la technologie de moteur combustion interne lhydrogne dans le contexte dextension dautonomie des vhicules lectriques est invite postuler pour le poste. Le projet de recherche porte sur la gestion des vhicules hybrides. Une attention particulire sera porte un groupe lectrogne bicarburant : essence/hydrogne. Le candidat doit possder les qualits techniques suivantes : Expertise en systmes embarqus pour les applications vhiculaires (instrumentation). Avoir des connaissances sur la modlisation, la commande et la gestion dnergie. Avoir des connaissances sur les groupes lectrognes (combustion de mlange de carburant). Avoir des connaissances sur la rpartition de puissance de sources hybrides. Exprience sur MATLAB/Simulink et Labview serait un atout. Matrise du franais (ou de langlais) parl et crit. Le candidat retenu sera appel conduire les aspects exprimentaux et thoriques du programme de recherche. Il doit pouvoir sintgrer au sein dune quipe multidisciplinaire et il participera lcriture/rdaction darticles et rapports techniques et aux demandes de subventions.
Institut de recherche sur lhydrogne LInstitut de recherche sur lhydrogne (IRH) de lUniversit du Qubec Trois-Rivires (UQTR) a t fond en 1994 (http://irh.uqtr.ca/accueil/a-propos-de-lirh.html). Il est lun des chefs de file dans la recherche sur le stockage, la sret et lutilisation de lhydrogne au Canada. LIRH est une quipe multidisciplinaire de plus de 60 personnes bien instrumente en caractrisation et synthse des matriaux nanoporeux et des hydrures, en valuation de piles combustible, de moteurs combustion, de vhicule hybride lhydrogne, de systmes nergie renouvelable et rseaux lectriques intelligents.
Dure du stage et Salaire (bourse) Le stage est prvu pour une dure de un (1) an renouvelable selon la disponibilit des fonds de recherche. Montant de la bourse : 35000$.

The Hydrogen Research Institute is looking for a candidate for a postdoctoral position on the subject of hybrid electric vehicle using a battery pack and a hydrogen-based generator.
Candidate profile Anyone who has completed (or are about to complete) a doctoral program (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering, engineering physics or electrical engineering and interested in internal combustion engine with hydrogen technology in the context of electric vehicles extension range is invited to apply for the position. The research project focuses on hybrid electric vehicle energy efficiency and energy management. Specifically, the candidate has to work with a mixture of gasoline and hydrogen mixture as fuel for generator. In addition, the candidate must demonstrate the following technical skills: Expertise in embedded systems for vehicular applications (instrumentation). Knowledge about the modeling, control and energy management. Knowledge about generators (combustion of fuel mixture). Knowledge about hybrid source power splitting methods. Experience in MATLAB / Simulink and Labview would be an asset. Fluency in French (or English) spoken and written. The successful candidate will be required to conduct experimental and theoretical aspects of the research program. It must work with a multidisciplaine team and will participate in writing articles and technical reports as well as grant proposals.
Hydrogen Research Institute Hydrogen Research Institute (HRI) of the Universit du Qubec Trois-Rivires (UQTR) was founded in 1994 (http://irh.uqtr.ca/accueil/a-propos-de-lirh.html). HRI is one of the leaders in the fields of hydrogen storage, safety and applications in Canada. HRI is a multidisciplinary team of more than 60 people and several scientific equipments on characterization and synthesis of nanoporous materials and hydrides, on evaluation of fuel cells, on combustion engines, on hybrid electric vehicle using hydrogen, on renewable energy systems and smart power grids.
Duration and grant (salary) Initial appointment is for one year, renewable for another year upon mutual satisfaction and funding availability. A 35000 $CAN grant is available for the position.
