Step 1: Firmware Up gradation

Download the DVR firmware from below link:

ftp://hikcustomer:welcome@ftp.hikvisionindia.in
Folder NameFirmwareNew 3G Firmware.
Upgrade the DVR with the firmware using pen drive.
MenuMaintenanceUpgrade.
Select the firmware file and click on upgrade.

Step 2: 3G Dongle

Connect 3G dongle to DVRs USB connection.

Note:
Dongle model supported: Huawei E173.
Dongle model supported(only for HDTVI) : K4203i & Huawei E173

Step 3:Device configuration

MenuConfigurationNetwork3G.
Check whether APN no. is generated automaticaly.

 Menu Maintenance 3G Stat.
Check the whether IP address is generated.

Note:
Make sure dynamic IP is generated. If proxy IP is generated, kindly
contact your ISP.
Signal strength should be at optimum level.

 MenuConfigurationNetworkDDNS.
Enable DDNS.
DDNS type-HiDDNS / Hkddns / EasyDDNS.
Server address: asdev.hik-online.com .
Device domain name eg: hik_dvr, steve, etc.

After applying, if registered successfully, no message will be

displayed. If it shows Communication to the server failed, kindly
double check the network and DNS settings.

Step 4: Port Check

Open ping.eu website on your browser.

Ping.euport check.
Check whether ports 80, 8000 and 1024 are open.

Note:
The IP address or host name encircled in above image should be
3G IP address generated in DVR.
If ports are closed, check whether proxy IP is generated, if yes,
contact ISP (Internet Service Provider).
If ports are open proceed further.

Step 5: DDNS registration
Open Internet Explorer in the address bar, type IP address of DDNS
Management Server http://asdev.hik-online.com
If you dont have an account, please click register new user to
create a new user.

Register a new account and login into the DDNS page using the
same username and password.

 When you login at the first time, it will pop up a tip to remind you
to select the country. The country cannot be changed once saved,
so please select it prudently.
For better device management, its highly recommended to set it
same as the one you set for your device.

 After registration is done, login with registered username and
password.

 A link will be sent to your registered mail id, click on the link as
shown in the snapshot so as to confirm your e-mail id:

In Device management , click on Add option.

 Enter in Device name and serial number. By default, http port of
device is 80. If http port of device was changed from 80, please
enter new port in http port area.

Note:
Please input here the registered domain name in the device domain
area and correct device serial no.

 Click Device Status to show all added devices information like
Serial number, Dynamic IP, HTTP port, DDNS IP address.
You can access the device using the Device Link URL.
If the device status is offline, you can click diagnose to check the
reason.

Step 6: Mobile configuration

 To view device online through Mobile you need to download iVMS
4500 from play store. MenuDevices.

 Click on PLUS sign (+) to add your device.
Select Manual Adding.

 Select register mode as HiDDNS.

Feed the information as shown below-
Device Domain Domain name registered in DDNS management
system.
Username and password of DVR/NVR.
Click on save.

After the device is saved, click on Start Live View.

network bandwidth by selecting the options shown in above image.
