(English) FECIF enters a new era

A number of changes have recently taken place in the FECIF Executive, as it enters a very important stage in its development and Facing many consultations at the UE level. For many years Vincent Derudder has been one of the main driving forces behind the Federations growth and development, helping to turn it into arguably the most important pan-European trade body. Following Mr Derudders recent retirement, David Charlet has become the new Chairman, with Johannes Muschik now taking on the role of Deputy Chairman. In addition to his FECIF role, Mr Charlet is the President of ANACOFI (1), the main French national association for financial advisors and intermediaries that he helped to found in 2004. Mr Muschik is also Chairman of AFPA (2), the Austrian Financial & Insurance Professionals Association. As part of these changes, Paul Stanfield has been voted in as the new FECIF Secretary General. Mr Stanfield has been the CEO of FEIFA (3) since its launch in August 2009 and will also continue in that role, combining the two responsibilities.

(Franais) FECIF entre dans une nouvelle re Lexcutif de la Fdration Europenne des Conseils Financiers vient dtre remani, au moment o nous entrons dans une phase cruciale de son dveloppement et o nous faisons face un grand nombre de consultations europennes. Pendant de nombreuses annes, Vincent Derudder aura t lme de la FECIF et le garant de son dveloppement et de son action, en faisant le plus important organe de reprsentation pan-europen de nos mtiers. Suite au non renouvellement volontaire de son mandat, le Conseil des Directeurs a lu David CHARLET Prsident et Johannes MUSCHIK, Vice-Prsident. En plus de ses fonctions au sein de la FECIF, Monsieur Charlet est Prsident de lANACOFI, la plus importante association franaise de reprsentation des Conseils et Intermdiaires Financiers, cre en 2004. Monsieur Muschik est pour sa part, Prsident de lAFPA, principale association autrichienne, lance en 2009. Pour complter cette volution, Paul Stanfield a t lu Secrtaire Gnral. Il est et restera pour sa part, le Dlgu Gnral de la FEIFA (Grande-Bretagne).
