Unit Goals: Students will be able to name their food and Drink preferences

Materials Needed:
Photos of foods

Lesson Plan Activities

Activity 1: when students enter the classroom, a note on the board asks them to write as many

foods as possible in the target language.

“Suivez les instructions au tableau en attendant que tout le monde se rende en classe. Cela vous

fera penser en français et prêt pour la leçon d'aujourd'hui”.

Activity 2: “Je vais vous montrer une série de photos de nourriture. Je veux juste que vous criiez

comment la nourriture s'appelle”.

The teacher will show pictures of food and have the class say what it is. They will repeatedly go

through the vocabulary/pictures until the teacher feels there is a high comprehension of the

vocabulary.

Closure

“J'espère que vous avez l'impression que votre vocabulaire sera beaucoup plus long maintenant

que nous avons pratiqué ce vocabulaire. Assurez-vous de travailler quotidiennement sur ce

vocabulaire pour ne pas oublier ces mots”.
