Wichtige Hinweise zum Gebrauch
1. Bevor Sie Aufnahmen wichtiger Ereignisse machen, z. B. auf einer Hochzeit
oder Reise, vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Kamera einwandfrei funktioniert.
2. Diese Kamera ist nicht wasserdicht und eignet sich daher nicht für den Einsatz in
Regen oder Schnee. Schützen Sie die Kamera vor salzhaltigem Sprühwasser und
übermäßiger Feuchtigkeit. Nach Gebrauch am Strand reinigen Sie die Kamera
gründlich mit einem trockenen Tuch.
3. Lagern Sie die Kamera an einem kühlen, trockenen, staubfreien Ort, wo sie keinem
direkten Sonnenlicht ausgesetzt ist. Bewahren Sie die Kamera auch nicht an einem
Ort auf, wo die Temperatur tagsüber extreme Werte annehmen kann, z. B. im
Kofferraum oder auf der Hutablage Ihres Autos. Vermeiden Sie Orte oder Lagerung mit
chemischen Dämpfen. Verwenden Sie bei hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit ein Trockenmittel.
4. Versuchen Sie nicht, die Kamera selbst zu zerlegen, da sie Hochspannungskreise
enthält.
5. Batterien können explodieren und Hautverbrennungen verursachen, wenn man
versucht, sie zu zerlegen oder wieder aufzuladen, und wenn sie extrem hohen
Temperaturen ausgesetzt oder verbrannt werden.
6. Befreien Sie das Objektiv sowie das Kamerainnere mit einem Blasepinsel von

Einlegen der Batterie und Kontrollieren der Batteriespannung
■ Einlegen der Batterie

Eine neue Batterie hat normalerweise ausreichend Kapazität für ca.
16 Rollen Filme mit jeweils 24 Bildern (gemäß Canon-
Batterieprüfverfahren bei normaler Temperatur und Blitzbetrieb bei 50%
der Aufnahmen). Bei tiefen Temperaturen (–10°C) beträgt die
Lebensdauer etwa ein Drittel des normalen Werts.
Wenn Sie mehrere Blitzaufnahmen hintereinander machen, kann die
Batteriespannung vorübergehend bis unter den Mindestwert abfallen, was
sich durch falsche Anzeigen im Display bemerkbar macht.
