Australian Animals

Australia is an English-speaking country in the South hemisphere. It was

discovered by James Cook in seventeen seventy. Australia is very famous for its
strange animals…
The dingo is a wild dog and the ostrich is an animal with a long neck. The kiwi is a
brown bird and the kangaroo can jump very high. The koala loves eating
eucalyptus and sleeps 22 hours a day. The sugar glider is a mammal which can fly.
And the strangest animal is THE PLATYPUS!
Go and discover them in this part of the park!
Some Australian animal species are now instinct such as the Tasmanian tiger also
called the Tasmanian wolf.
