Le nid d’ange est entièrement réalisé en tricotant A 45 cm (116 rgs) de haut, à la suite des m. monter 3 Faire les coutures.

The sleeping bag is made using 2 strands of
IDEAL throughout. Prepare the balls by winding
the 2 strands together before use to obtain an
even thread.
Garter St (G.st), using 5.5 mm needles.
Every row: knit
• Tension/Gauge
To achieve a good result it is essential to make
a tension square (see “Check Your Tension”
instructions at beginning of book).
15 sts & 26 rows over Garter St using 5.5 mm
needles = 10 cm (4 in) square.
The arrows on the diagram indicate the direction
of work.
Using a ball of 2 strands of yarn together cast
on 75 sts. Cont in Garter St until work measures
45 cm (17¾ in) [116 rows] total.
Cast on 42 new sts at the end of the last WS row,
then, continue in Garter St on the 117 sts obtained.
When work measures 90 cm (35½ in) [234 rows]
total, cast off all the sts.
Cut a rectangle of 48 x 80 cm (18¾ x 31½ in) from
the velour fabric.
Following the diagram:
1 Place the sleeping bag flat with the flap at
the right. Place the WS of the fabric on the
sleeping bag and pin the 2 pieces together.
2 Fold and pin.
3 Sew the seams.
4  ut 6 x 35 cm (13¾ in) lengths of ribbon. Fold

over 1 cm at one end of each length, then sew
1.5 cm of these ends onto the sleeping bag.
5 T o make the hood, match points A & A’, then
hold these points in place with a few sts using
IDEAL. Fold in the flap and sew the seam
(= green line).
6 Tie the bows.
Lace the remaining 150 cm (59 in) of ribbon to form
4 crosses & tie in a bow at the top of the hood.
