discipline majeure, discipline mineure
(si le(a) candidat(e) a choisi cette
option) et motivation. (45 à 60 min.,
avec éventuellement 15 min. de

candidate’s academic background
and project, in front of a single

You can join the DEC by choosing to major

 Oral exam on your major (1h
minimum – possibly with an
additional written preparation) -

 Oral interview about the
candidate’s broader scientific
knowledge: Major discipline,
Minor discipline (if chosen), and
motivation (45 min. to 1 hour,
including 15 min. of preparation) -
Weight 3.
Exam questions will be provided both in
French and in English. The candidate may
choose to answer in French or in English.
