1. TBS6909x LNB Guide

TBS6909x is octa tuner but only have 4 inputs, a lot of users do not know how to connect the LNB signal for
6909x, this guide will help you how to use connect the LNB signal for your TBS6909x, we list all LNB type you can
choose the one you are using it will show detail connection information.

2. Universal Ku-Band Quad LNB

If you are using the LNB like this one Ku Quad LNB:

Please put the 4xoutputs to the 6909x input0 to input 3.

3. Universal Ku-Band Quattro LNB

If you are using the LNB like this one Ku Quattro LNB:

The 4xoutputs have different signal VL,VH,HL,HH, please put the cables to the right position of TBS6909x,
from Input0 to input 3 is VL,VH,HL,HH.

4. Universal Ku-Band Linear(Single Band)

If you are using the LNB like this one Ku Linear(Single Band 11300) LNB:

If you want to lock Vertical transponders please put the signal to input0,
If you want to lock Horizontal transponders please put the signal to input2.

5. C-Band (Single 5150)

If you are using the LNB like this one C-Band(Single Band 5150) LNB:

If you want to lock Vertical transponders please put the signal to input0,
If you want to lock Horizontal transponders please put the signal to input2.

6. C-Band (5750)

If you are using the LNB like this one C-Band(Dual Band 5150(H)/5750(V)) LNB:

If you want to lock Vertical transponders please put the signal to input1,
If you want to lock Horizontal transponders please put the signal to input2.

7. Multiswitch

When using with multiswitch like this one:

Please put the output cables to the 6909x, if the multiswich have more than 1 satellite input, when you
lock the transponder please send DiSEqC command choose the satellite you want to use.

8. Normal Mode(1)

If you want to use the 6909x like our TBS6904 quad card just need to change the mode like this.
Create a file /etc/modprobe.d/stid135.conf
content is:
options stid135 mode=1

Save and reboot it will change to Mode 1.

When using with Mode 1, every two tuners are the same signal input, you need to make sure that every two
tuners are use the same signal type like VL or VH or HL or HH.
Like Tuner 0 using VL Transponder then Tuner 1 needs to use VL Transponder too.

9. Unicable Mode(2)

If you are using Unicable like this one:

If you want to use the 6909x with Unicable please change the mode like this.
Create a file /etc/modprobe.d/stid135.conf
content is:
options stid135 mode=2
Save and reboot, it will change to Mode 2.
When use with Mode2 please put the Signal to Input3.
