Extreme Minimum
This plant hardiness zones map follows an approach used by the United States Department of Agriculture
0a/b (www.usna.usda.gov/Hardzone/). The map shows the average of the annual extreme minimum temperature
0a/b -56.7 to / à -51.1
for the period 1981 to 2010. It is important to note that weather conditions in any individual year may be
different from the average conditions shown on this map. The zones correspond to the temperature ranges
shown in the map legend. 1a -51.1 to / à -48.3
