Martine : Qu’est-ce que c’est?
Robert : C’est une photo de ma famille.
Martine : C’est qui, ça?
Robert : C’est mon père.
Martine : Quel âge a-t-il?
Robert : Il a cinquante-trois ans.
Martine : Qu’est-ce qu’il fait?
Robert : Il enseigne les mathématiques à l’université de Boston.
Martine : Et la femme à côté de ton père, c’est ta mère?
Robert : Non, ma mère est morte. C’est ma tante, la sœur de mon père.
Martine : Elle a l’air très intéressant. As-tu des frères?
Robert : Non, mais voici ma sœur Nicole.
Martine : Elle habite où?
Robert : À Munich. Elle y travaille pour une compagnie allemande.
Martine : Tu as une famille charmante.

And the woman next to your father, is that your mother?
No. My mother is dead. This is my aunt, my father’s sister.
She looks very interesting. Do you have any brothers?
No, but this here is my sister Nicole.
Where does she live?
In Munich. She’s working there for a German company.
