Objet : Candidature aux doubles diplômes avec les universités partenaires océaniennes de l’ESTP Paris.

Madame, Monsieur,

J’ai l’honneur de solliciter de votre part, l’étude d’une demande de mobilité académique internationale à l’ESTP
Paris.

Suite à une classe préparatoire en filière PC au sein du Lycée Louis Pasteur à Neuilly-sur-Seine, j’ai été acceptée à
l’ESTP, école dans laquelle je suis le cursus Bâtiment. Souhaitant depuis le lycée poursuivre un cursus axé sur
l’architecture et le développement durable, j’ai réalisé un premier rêve en intégrant cette école. Dans ce cadre, je
souhaiterais poursuivre ma formation d’ingénieur en effectuant un double diplôme à l’étranger - idéalement dans
une université en Océanie.

J’ai pour projet après obtention de mon diplôme d’effectuer ma carrière professionnelle à l’étranger. J’ai toujours
vécu en région parisienne, ce qui nourrit mon envie de découvrir d’autres cultures, et d’autres modes de vie. Mes
quelques séjours dans des pays tels que les États-Unis et l’Angleterre (dont un voyage linguistique dans une famille
anglaise) ont développé ma passion pour l’anglais et mon aspiration à adopter un mode de vie anglophone.

Les récits de ma mère qui a vécu en Nouvelle-Zélande, de ceux de mes camarades qui ont effectué leur mobilité en
Océanie et un entretien avec Australie Mag, ont accentué la curiosité que je portais déjà à ces destinations et ont
décuplé lorsque j’ai découvert les possibilités de masters orientés vers l’architecture et l’environnement :

- Après mûre réflexion sur mon avenir professionnel, mon premier choix se porte sur l’University of Melbourne
en Australie. Elle possède non seulement un Master of Architectural Engineering mais aussi un Master of
Environmental Engineering. Consciente des enjeux climatiques mondiaux, j’aimerais dévouer mon travail au bon
fonctionnement de la transition écologique.
- Mon deuxième voeux concerne le Master of Architectural Engineering de l’University of Canterbury en Nouvelle-
Zélande. Il possède une diversité d’enseignements ne pouvant être qu’enrichissante et indispensable pour mon
projet.
- Par la suite, je porte un l’intérêt particulier à l’University of Queensland pour son Master of Engineering
Management et sa complémentarité à ma formation d’ingénieur. C’est pour moi l’opportunité de développer mes
compétences managériales. Ayant beaucoup d’implications dans la vie associative de l’ESTP par mon
engagement dans trois associations (Good Morning Paris, Afro ESTP, Sound ESTP), j’ai découvert un véritable
intérêt dans la gestion d’une équipe, le développement d’un projet, et la prise de décision par les postes que
j’occupe.
- Enfin, la Victoria University of Wellington en Nouvelle Zélande me plait pour les même raisons que
l’Université de Melbourne pour son Master of Renewable Energy.

J’envisage après l’obtention de mon diplôme d’effectuer un Volontariat Internationale en Entreprise (V.I.E) dans
l’optique de prolonger mon séjour à l’international et si par chance les conditions s’y prêtent, et me le permettent,
de m’installer à l’étranger dans un pays anglophone.

Néanmoins, veuillez noter que si ma candidature ne devait pas être retenue, mon postula s’orienterait vers un
échange en Argentine à l’Universidad de Buenos Aires ou au Vietnam à la National University of Civil
Engineering. Désireuse de découvrir de nouvelles cultures et continents tels que l’Amérique du Sud et l’Asie, ces
deux universités pourraient répondre à mon épanouissement pour mes projets d’avenir.

Ainsi, ma motivation est portée par les enjeux environnementaux qui me tiennent à cœur, et des convictions
profondes. Sachez que je suis déterminée à apporter volonté, énergie, travail, et persévérance.

Subject : Application for International Academic Mobility - Double degree with ESTP Paris

Dear Sir or Madam,

I have the honor to request from you the study of an application for international academic mobility at ESTP Paris.

Following undergraduate courses to prepare nation-wide competitive exams in Physics and Chemistry Department
at Louis Pasteur High School in Neuilly-sur-Seine, I was accepted at ESTP, in the Building Department. Since high
school I wanted to pursue a curriculum focused on architecture and sustainable development, I realized my first
dream by integrating this school. Therefore, I would like to continue my engineering training by completing a
double degree abroad - ideally at a university in Oceania.

My project after graduation is to pursue my professional career abroad. I have always lived in the Parisian region,
which nourishes my desire to discover other cultures, and other ways of life. My few trips to countries such as the
United States and England (including a language stay in an English family) have developed my passion for English
and my aspiration to adopt an English lifestyle.

The stories of my mother who lived in New Zealand, of my classmates who traveled to Oceania and a personal
interview with Australia Mag, heightened the curiosity I was already carrying to these destinations and increased
tenfold when I discovered the possibilities of architectural and environmental masters:

- After a lot of reflection on my professional future, my first choice is the University of Melbourne in Australia. It
offers not only a Master of Architectural Engineering but also a Master of Environmental Engineering. Aware of global
climate issues, I would like to devote my work to the proper functioning of the ecological transition.

- My second wish concerns the Master of Architectural Engineering at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand. It
has a variety of courses that can only be enriching and indispensable for my project.

- Furthermore, I am particularly interested in the University of Queensland for its Master of Engineering Management
and its complementarity with my engineering training. This is an opportunity for me to develop my managerial
skills. Having a lot of implications in the associative life of ESTP through my involvement in three associations
(Good Morning Paris, Afro ESTP, Sound ESTP), I discovered a real interest in managing a team, developing a
project, and making decisions through the positions I hold.

- Finally, I like the Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand for the same reasons as the University of
Melbourne for its Master of Renewable Energy.

After graduation, I plan to give my application for the International Volunteer in Business (IVB) program in order
to extend my stay abroad and if, by chance, the conditions allow me, to move abroad in an English-speaking country.

However, please note that if my application was not successful, I would like to do a one-semester mobility in
Argentina at the University of Buenos Aires or Vietnam at the National University of Civil Engineering. Desiring to
discover new cultures and continents such as South America and Asia, these two universities could respond to the
fulfillment of my future projects.

To conclude, my motivation is driven by the environmental issues that I care about, and deep convictions. Please
know that I am determined to bring will, energy, work, and perseverance.
