Informations générales d’installation

Avertissement.
Les bouchons de protection des connecteurs AISG ne doivent être ôtés qu’au moment du raccordement.
L’installation de ce type de matériel nécessite du personnel habilité conformément aux règles de sécurité en vigueur.
Les instructions données dans cette notice doivent être rigoureusement suivies pour l’installation du RET. En
particulier, il est indispensable lors de l’installation que les RET et les tilts des antennes soient tous positionnés
à –2°.

Conditions d’environnement
Le RET Arialcom est conçu pour une utilisation dans un environnement conforme à la norme ETS 300 019-1-4
Les caractéristiques du produit sont décrites dans la fiche technique.

Description .
Les RET sont positionnés en usine à -2° (un décalage visuel est normal ). Les repositionner tous à –2° si nécessaire.

Mode opératoire de l’installation

1)-Choix des axes à monter sur l’antenne.
L’insertion à fond indique le type d’axe à utiliser.
Insérer en premier l’axe long, s’il se monte à fond passer
au point 2, autrement répéter l’opération avec l‘axe court.
5)-Présenter l’ensemble RETs dans l’axe des
mécanismes de commande et l’insérer jusqu’en butée.
Attention : tous les RETs et tilts
antennes doivent être en position –2°

2)-Une fois le choix des axes fait ôter la protection de

l’adhésif, et coller l’axe sur la commande de tilt

6)-Serrer les 2 fourreaux filetés avec un couple de

serrage de 5Nm
3)-Répéter la manœuvre sur les 3 commandes de tilt.

4)-Régler obligatoirement les 3 commandes de tilt de

l’antenne sur -2°
L’opération doit être faite sans forcer en desserrant
légèrement la commande de tilt.

General installation instructions

Warning :
The protective caps of the AISG connectors should be removed only before the connection implementation.
Installation of this type of equipment should be carried out by a competent person in accordance with safety regulations.
The instructions for installing the RET system given in this publication should be applied carefully. Particularly, it is of
the most importance that all the RET and antenna tilts are set to –2° for a correct installation °.

Environmental conditions
The RET system is designed to operate in the environmental conditions as defined in standard ETS 300 019-1-4.
The features of this device are described in the corresponding data sheet.

Description
By default, all RET devices are set to -2° tilt value. (A visual offset is normal). If necessary, set the all the RETs to –2°
value.

Installation instruction
1)-Selection of axis part to be mounted on the antenna. 5)-Present the RET device in the control system axis and
2 types of axis parts are provided with the RET. insert it until it stops.
Start inserting first the long axis part; if it correctly fits (as
shown in step 3) go to step 2, otherwise use the short Warning: all the RET and antenna tilt
axis part.

2)-Once the axis part is chosen, remove the sticker

protection and fix the axis part on the control tilt rod.

6)-Tighten the 2 threaded sleeves using a torque wrench

at 5Nm.

3)-Repeat step 2 on the 3 tilt control rods.

4)-All the antenna tilt values must be tuned to -2° as

showed below.
