GRAMMAR CORNER IF I WERE A PIRATE, I WOULD…

If I were a pirate, * kin = family members

How would I live? or very close friends
First and foremost, OUR PIRATE POEM
I'd act as if, If I were a pirate,
I was Captain Jack Sparrow's kin*.
I’d have a pirate sword,
Sounds like big boots to fill,
A telescope, a hat, an eye patch,
But I think I could fit.
With my charming looks, And I might win an award!
I'd escape close call arrests.
Let's not forget, my clever wits. A parrot on my shoulder,
A hook for a hand, A diamond
If I were a pirate,
How would I live? beard, a treasure map;
Similar to Kenny Chesney, To find a long, lost land!
Claiming my own island,
Far away from the crowded cities. (Joane ANAND)

I'd still hold pride with my gypsy soul,

Without feeling trapped in closing walls. If I were a pirate,
I'd live in wide open spaces,
Embracing my Epicurean freedom, I would wear an eye patch,
As I journey the world on my own Black
Pearl. Say ahoy,
Use a flag,
If I were a pirate,
How would I live? Find a treasure,
Instead of hiding a stash of rum,
I'd keep secret my own treasures, Follow a map.
That prevents me from becoming If I were a pirate I would find the
succumb. treasure.
