En plein air = en extérieur = outdoors

Couvert = en intérieur = indoors

C’est chouette ! = It’s nice!

C’est stylé ! = It’s cool, impressive!

C'est joli ! = It’s pretty!

C’est canon ! = It’s pretty!

C’est top ! = That’s great!

Pas bête ! = “Not dumb” = Good idea!

Une boutique décalée = a quirky shop

Décaler = to move sideways, to reschedule

Craquant = very cute, irresistible (in everyday French)

Ça me fait craquer ! = It’s irresistible / it’s so cute !

J’ai craqué pour ce manteau ! = I couldn’t resist buying this coat!

Dis donc… = Tell me… (You know / I must say)

Plein de trucs = lots of stuff

Un truc (informal) = une chose = something

Faire les courses = grocery shopping

Une course = an errand, or a race (sports)

Bio et de saison = organic and seasonal

Le Drive piéton = pedestrian pick-up point

Un piéton = a pedestrian

Commander en ligne = order online

Une librairie = a bookstore

Une bibliothèque = a library

Une friperie = a thrift store

Un bon plan = un (bon) tuyau (literally a pipe) = a good tip, a good deal

Dénicher = to unearth, to discover

Conseiller = advising

En rentrant = on the way back

Évidemment = obviously

Faire un tour = “making a round” = going somewhere, taking a walk

Cet aprem (informal) = Cet après-midi = this afternoon

Amuse-toi bien ! = Have fun!
