HOW TO CONJUGATE IRREGULAR IR VERBS Present tense

Rappel :

Je Tu Il Elle On Nous Vous Ils Elles

I You He She We We You They They

1. Partir - To leave
This type of verbs is conjugated in the present tense by dropping the final letter of the
stem for "je, tu, il, elle, on" but not for "nous, vous, ils, elles"
The stem here is "part"

Sujet Radical Terminaison

Je par s => Je pars
Tu par s => Tu pars
Il par t => Il part
Elle par t => Elle part
On par t => On part
Nous part ons => Nous partons
Vous part ez => Vous partez
Ils part ent => Ils partent
Elles part ent => Elles partent

Est-ce que nous partons bientôt? - Are we leaving soon?

This type of verbs is conjugated in the present tense the same way as ER verbs.
The stem stays the same, it works for verbs ending in LLIR - FRIR - VRIR
