The willows project is an oil project proposed by ConocoPhillips in
Alaska.The idea is to extract oil from region while minimizing
environmental impact. It’s a complex project white many
stakeholders involved, including environmental groups, oil
companies and local communities.
The général context is the need to balance energy needs whith
environmental protection.The specific context is the National
Petroleum Reserve area in Alaska, which is an area rich in oil but
also an important habitat for wildlife
